Photo Album: Underpinning by the Lake

A home in the Lake Tahoe Basin had a garage whose footings were failing and causing the structure to slide down and off the mountain, we came in, core drilled through the existing slab of the garage and added micropiles to each of the footings to secure them deep into the earth and create essentially stilts that are both secure and long enought to properly transfer the load and inhibit future sliding.
